Founded in 2015, Batik Poyung honors heritage and family, taking its name from Bopo Biyung (parents) as a symbol of warmth and comfort. Specializing in authentic Balikpapan-inspired motifs such as the Black Orchid, mangrove blossoms, and karamunting flora, each handcrafted textile blends premium craftsmanship with the vibrant essence of Kalimantan, elevating traditional Indonesian wastra to broader audiences.
